Tracy Klass is A Taste of Klass

A foodie who was taught traditional Jewish cooking by her Aunts Sarah and Polly, and who understands that you do get tired of your own food. AND that you don’t have six hours to make Tzimmes or a pot of Chicken Soup. Traditional Jewish food is extremely time consuming (that is why it is so delicious), it takes hours, actually days sometimes, between the cooking, resting, slicing – it is a lot of work.
No, I’m not kosher under the Beth Din, but the food is (gewone) traditional Jewish food. I don’t mix milk and meat, and I don’t cook Treif or Chazzer or Shellfish. I have expanded the menu to accommodate vegetarians and vegans too with our Ratatouille, Roast Cauliflower, and Roast Root Veg Tzimmes and more.
And as for our tea table. My late father always said, “how can you have a dry cup of tea” and he is so right. We have the most delicious range of cakes, tarts and other lovely things including Kichel, Cheese Blintzes, Apple Blintzes, Florentines and Rugelach. Our cakes include a three layer Carrot with Cream Cheese icing, a sublime Chocolate Cake or two, and a gluten free Almond & Orange Cake with marmalade syrup.
We don’t only offer a Shabbat and Yom Tov meals, there is also a range of food on offer that will take the hassle out of the Sunday Night Deli Supper and Sunday lunches – you can even stock up the freezer for the kids so that you know they are eating properly.
All meals come with simple heating and serving instructions, and a list of ingredients.
