I always tell my customers I don’t even take home these biscuits. I would be fat and poor. Almond flakes are mixed orange peel and glacé cherries into a caramel-type mixture and baked until gold brown. When cool they are painted with black chocolate. Don’t even think of buying one … you will regret it because they are the most moreish delight ever.
