The word tzimmes is a Yiddish expression for “making a fuss” over something.

Tzimmes is one of those traditional Jewish foods that seems to have dozens of variations. We offer a classic flaumen (prune) tzimmes where the brisket has been roasted for hours, then we add carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes and prunes and roast some more.
