Traditional Polish sweet and sour cabbage rolls in a sauce of tomatoes, carrots, brown sugar, vinegar, apple sauce and chopped cabbage.

Cabbage leaves are wrapped around flavoured mincemeat and baked for two hours in a sweet and sour sauce. The secret is in the homemade stewed apples which is added to the sauce.
