Ours is a plain vanilla but can be flavoured with orange or lemon rind. We dust it with icing sugar, but it can be drizzled with an orange or lemon glaze too. Unlike traditional sponge cakes, which are made with or without butter, chiffon cakes are always made with oil which makes these delicious cakes parev as well.
